Please note:
AireExpressBus reserves the right to cancel any scheduled bus up to 3 days before departure. We advise our customers to book their tickets in advance and at least 4 days before departure. All available tickets can be booked up to 1 day before departure. In case we cancel a reservation, we will contact you by email.
Tickets will be send to you by email. Please print the tickets and take them with you. If you did not receive our confirmationa email, please contact us!
We advise you to be at the airport in time (airlines suggest you to be present at least 2 hours before departure of scheduled flight).
The bus company is not responsible for any delay or other circumstances.
General information
How do I recognize the AirExpressBus touring cars?
AirExpressBus hires the personnel and buses from BBA Tours. This company exploits both touring cars and small vans, often the BBA Tours logo is displayed on the side. The buses that are in service for AirExpressBus always have the AirExpressBus logo behind the front window.

Is there a toilet in the bus?
Most of our buses are equipped with a toilet. However, it may happen you find yourself travelling on a bus without this facility. We cannot give any assurances about this.
The travelling time seems to be quite long?
This is correct, we have taken several things into account, like rush hour, busy traffic and other circumstances. Often you will arrive earlier at your destination then mentioned in our timetable.
May I smoke/ eat/ drink in the bus?
As in all public buildings and transportation vehicles, it is not allowed to smoke in our buses. Eating and drinking is allowed, as long as you do not cause inconvenience by making stains and/or leaving waste.
Tickets & bookings
I want to make a reservation, up to how many days before departure can I book my ticket(s)?
Through this website you can make reservations up to 1 day before departure. If you cannot book your ticket online anymore, please contact us to find out if we have any last-minute seats available on the bus; we can add you to the passengers list.
When I decide to take the AirExpressBus, can I buy a ticket somewhere?
Yes, you can buy your ticket at an AirExpressBus desk or one of our resellers. However, these tickets are based on the availability of seats. Only a ticket bought on the internet is valid for a guaranteed seat on the bus.
How do I receive my ticket(s)?
Please complete the procedure to book the ticket(s) online. At the end you can print your ticket(s) directly from the website. Also, the ticket(s) will be send to the e-mail address you entered. It is very important to bring your printed ticket(s) with you so you can hand it to the bus driver. If you cannot provide a valid, printed ticket upon boarding the bus, our bus driver is obligated to charge you for a new ticket. Booked and unused tickets cannot be refunded.
Can I change my ticket?
You can log in with your account number and password to change your travelling date and time. We do have to charge you a fee for this. Tickets can be changed up to 2 office days before the journey. The new tickets will be send by email.
Can I cancel my ticket and get a refund?
Unfortunately it is not possible to cancel your ticket.
Baggage
Which baggage can be taken with me without extra charge?
It is allowed to take one piece of hand baggage and one piece of standard baggage with you. The hand baggage, a bag that has a maximum measurement of (LxWxH) 55cm x 35cm x 25cm, may be taken with you into the bus. Besides the hand baggage a carefully packed hold baggage (suitcase, carry-bag, backpack, normal size) can be taken with you.
Collapsible buggies and prams are allowed. You do not have to report these items in advance. Crutches, walking frames, rollators and other medical equipment is transported free of charge.
Which special baggage can be taken with me?
Below you will find the allowed special items. These items must be reported in advance. If you did not book this baggage in advance, the transport can not be guaranteed.
Special baggage includes:
- Extra suitcase
- Diving sports items
- Bicycles
Up-turned or disassembled pedals, steering turned lengthwise or the use of a bicycle box
- Golfing bags
- Musical instruments (max. 1,50 meters)
- Fishing equipment
- Wave boards, surfboards, hang-gliders (max. 1,50 meters)
- Winter sports equipment
1 pair of skis, shoes and sticks or 1 snowboard with 1 pair of shoes
What are the fees for special baggage?
Extra suitcase: € 10,- (per single journey)
Special baggage: € 17,50 (per item per single journey)
How do I receive a confirmation?
Please complete the procedure to book the tickets and baggage online. At the end a confirmation will be send to the email address you entered. It is very important to bring your printed tickets with you so you can hand these to our bus driver.
What if I forgot to report my special baggage in advance?
Please contact us as soon as possible, but at least 2 days before your journey. If you did not report the special baggage, the transport can not be guaranteed.
Prices & discounts
I cannot / do not want to pay through the internet, is there another possibility?
You can buy your ticket at one of our selling points. Addresses are mentioned on our website.
Are there special discounts for children, students and elder people?
With AirExpressBus you pay for a seat on the bus of your choice, no discounts are possible. Children younger than 4 years, who don’t occupy a seat and are accompanied by a passenger over 16 years old travel for free. Children over 4 years of age, students and elderly people pay the normal price.
Are OV/ NS cards valid in the AirExpressBus?
No, because AirExpressBus is no public transportation company these cards and actions are not valid with us. With AirExpressBus you pay for a seat on the bus of your choice, no discounts are possible.
Will I be charged for my luggage?
No additional fee is charged, you just pay for your seat on the bus. If you take any baggage other then suitcases or bags with you, with special shapes or sizes, please contact us before making your reservation. All small vehicles, whether medical or not, can be stored in the luggage compartment if specially packed and/or folded.
It is prohibited to take drugs, explosives, weapons, oxygen bottles or dangerous liquids or solids in your luggage or with you in the bus.
Departure and arrival
Can any changes occur in the departure and arrival times?
The times mentioned in our timetable are estimated departure and arrival times. Due to busy traffic, delayed flights or other circumstances the bus sometimes departs or arrives a little later. Please bear this in mind when you plan your trip. Airlines advise you to be present at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.
How long before the departure time of the bus should I be present?
We advise you to be at our bus stop about 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The bus will not leave the bus stop earlier than stated on our timetable.
Are there other travel times possible, other than the ones then mentioned in your timetable?
If you travel with a group of at least 6 people it is possible to make arrangements for a small bus, but this depends on our bus planning and other variables. Please contact us by e-mail or telephone to see if we can help you.
Can I print the timetable?
You can download our timetable to your computer and print it, please follow the link provided below.
Troubleshooting
What should I do if I missed the bus?
Please contact us as soon as possible. This is also possible after office hours. Our emergency number is mentioned on the answering machine.
What if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed for a maximum of one hour and your bus is the last one that scheduled on that day, this bus will wait for you for as long as possible. Please contact us by phone as soon as you can to inform us about your delayed flight.
What if I cannot be at the bus stop in time?
Please contact us as soon as possible. This is also possible after office hours. Our emergency phone number is mentioned on the answering machine.
What if I don’t have a printer?
Your ticket will also send by e-mail. Perhaps it is possible to forward this e-mail to relatives, friends, neighbours et cetera so they can print it for you. Is this not possible, please visit a public library or internet cafe.
What if I don’t know when my return trip will be?
We advise you to buy a one way ticket for your trip. Your ticket for the return trip can be booked and printed up to 1 day before departure, online so from anywhere around the world.
Can you make sure the airplane waits for me?
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to make airplanes wait. While planning your trip, please remember the check in desk closes about 45 minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight. Airlines advise you to be present at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.
Can I cancel my ticket due to disease or death of someone close to me?
It is very unfortunate if these things happen to you or someone close to you. In most cases, your travel insurance company will reimburse you for any damages.
